Display faceplates
Make it unique and protect your display!
Display faceplates are used to cover the display panel.
Its functions may include:
- Mechanical, IP, UV protection
- Design element, optical cover
- Anti-glare or anti-reflective surface design
- Darkening, coloring, even selectively
- Placement of unique labels and function buttons
The base material can be glass, plexiglass, increased scratch-resistant foil, polycarbonate, or direct coating.
Technology
The display faceplate (rigid or flexible) contains the necessary printed design elements. The upper, user-facing side of the overlay can be provided with a scratch-resistant and anti-glare coating if necessary.
The faceplate is attached to the display with optically clear adhesive or a spacer adhesive frame. In the latter case, an anti-newton ring coating may be required to prevent rainbow effects.
